October 3, 2016 - Downright frisky and bursting with potential, promising everything a Sauvignon Blanc wine can possibly be. Drunk beside a 1996 Dagueneau Silex, which was very fine but tiring, this particular bottle could have lasted 10+ years in good form. Two more in the cellar for future reference. Life is good.

May 14, 2013 - Very youthful yellow in the glass. Remarkable nose of honey and grapefruit. Citrus and then mineral flavors with great acidity and a looooong finish. So much here and in such harmony. A sublime wine.

November 11, 2012 - This was just beautiful stuff. Complex mix of sauvage grassiness, laser-like fruit, mineral textures and a slight sweet body of flesh holding it all together. Just absolutely on point.

December 13, 2011 - Dinner with xhoser (Wildfire, Oakbrook): Deep straw color with aromas of melon and clay, honeysuckle and peach. Rich texture with apple, melon and waxy white fruit flavors on the palate. Lengthy finish.

December 13, 2011 - Dinner with xhoser and locals at Wildfire. Still nice acidity remaining with a lovely nose. Faint citrus notes.
