  May 23, 2022 - Nose is mature and aromatic -- both elegant and rustic. Soft on the mouthfeel this wine is lush and full-bodied. Burgundian in its flavors -- delicious plum and dark berries. More secondary than primary this mature wine with fully integrated tannins is a joy. Nice savory finish. Brilliant wine in a style I wish never left Napa producers.

  October 31, 2015 - Perfectly aged Cailfornia CAB! Great floral immediately upon opening. Lucious red fruit reminiscent of dark cherry. Silky smooth tannin. Really delightful. A strong producer in an iffy vintage wins the bottle.

  November 13, 2013 - Didn't have enough time for this to open and show itself unfortunately. Very silky and lush. Great texture. Fruit was fading but enjoyed the leather and earthy notes. Enjoyed with a great ribeye. Had a little more power and balance 6 years back when tasted in the winery. Drinking very well at the moment.
