August 29, 2021 - Excellent and well balanced, not too sweet or fruity, tasted great on day 2 so plenty of life left.

August 17, 2021 - Black fruits on the nose. Sweet fruit up front rolling actthe palate to a long finish. First taste from the bottle very young. Four hours in tasting like beautiful young wine with many years to go but paired really well with a New York strip. Decant 4 to 6 hours if you drink now otherwise give at least two more years.

July 25, 2021 - Splash decant in the wine fridge and it was ready to go. Elegant BDX nose and red fruit spectrum on the palate. As it opens up the tertiary notes start to grow and evolve in the glass. There is this curious tingling sensation to the finish.. Curious to give this 2h decant next time... I had the 16 before and it was darker and more cassis dominant.

July 4, 2021 - Two hour decant. Very deep dark magenta color. Black cherry jam, baking powder, semi-sweet chocolate, along with subtle blueberry and ginger, on the nose. Very smooth, dry palate, with refined acidity. Firm, but low intensity tannins on the long finish.

Quite frankly, I expected more based on the professional reviews and the price point. This was elegant, but surprisingly simple. There was nothing to differentiate this from a number of good $100 Napa Cabs.

May 14, 2021 - From a 375 with no decant. Elegance shown best—a good mix of Napa and BDX with the best of both worlds, no specific notes, other than Wow! Mrs Geaux loved it! Easily kicked ass over a 2012 Gargiulo OVX, which was excellent in its own right!
