September 3, 2022 - Bottle had been opened 3 weeks prior, left in the fridge with cork jammed back in.
deep amber colouring.
lovely depth of character, with a great balance of sweetness to acidity. better now than on opening which goes to show there's plenty of life in the tank for these but they are enjoyable now.
November 19, 2021 - Deep amber colouring
tangy Orange, apricot, a touch of honey
Decent dessert riesling that has quite a bit a depth along with well balanced acidity.
March 3, 2021 - Bloody delicious. Mouth filling and mouth watering. Thick and juicy tropical fruit that keeps on giving. Acidity retains the oft important freshness.
June 20, 2020 - Chunky and one dimensional, drinkable but not fine. Overpowering linseed on the nose and palate. Interesting colour though.
November 9, 2019 - Amber colour belies the freshness of this wine.
Rich apricot, pineapple and quince provide acidic streak that balances the raisin sweetness that lingers for long enough for another sip to be taken.
July 7, 2019 - Rich, concentrated raisins, sweet, lingers nicely.
April 7, 2019 - Round, apples and herbs, quite soft, most enjoyable
September 15, 2018 - Love this wine. Drank this alongside the 2013 vintage which first took preference but having drunk these across 2 weeks, the 14 finished the better (only everso slightly)
I love the rasping acidity this wine has that carries the sweet botrytized fruit and would pick this over any Sauternes.
May 24, 2017 - Simple, sweet Riesling. Not much acid to balance it, but pleasant. Just not great.
May 11, 2017 - Gorgeous nose: honeyed, rich, very ripe apricots.
Lovely vibrant palate. Something of a lemon marmalade character. But it's very clean and fresh thanks to excellent acidity.
