I will note at the outset that I am not a big fan of Brunello. Just my preference.
Very tasty bottle of wine. Not quite as good as the bottle in 2014, but still worth drinking. :-) -

April 4, 2020 - This 2001 Camigliano Brunello di Montalcino was popped and poured. It had a deep, inky color with bricking at the edges. It took five minutes for the mustiness to blow off, and another 15 minutes to fully open. And then it was a delicious, glorious older Brunello, with sweet dark fruit and dried herb fragrances, a sweetish mid-palate, nice acidity, very gentle tannins, and a smooth, silky finish. It is a very nice wine for pan-roasted chicken and vegetables, and has a good QPR.
