April 26, 2020 - Ruby with intense sweet black fruit and dark plum but with lovely bright acidity and some garrigue to balance it. Still primary but perfect with a bbq rump steak.

February 18, 2020 - Deep black to mahogany in colour. warmed ripe black fruit: damson, blackcurrant, liquorice, even a touch of black toffee. On the palate had great concentration of flavour, good depth to the mid-palate followed by a freshness, (walking in a cherry orchard), a sumptuousness to the texture plenty of fruit, warm and welcoming set on sweet powdery tannins. Finishes long, with that black toffee returning and some gentle oak spices. Well balanced overall with the 14% alcohol adding volume and integrating. Not that complex but delicious to drink and showing nicely for a 2014.

December 28, 2016 - Blackcurrent, herb and peppers on the nose. Firmly structured with great ageing potential, weighty red fruits and bold tannins

May 11, 2016 - Very nice indeed and terrific value for the £12 or so it cost from Majestic Wine. A mix of Bordeaux and Southern French varieties with Shiraz and Cabernet being the most prominent. Lots of black fruit, fine tannins and complex aromas. If you're drinking now, decant for an hour beforehand, but it will sit happily in your cellar for a while if you have the self-control.

April 17, 2016 - Inviting black fruit, beautiful bouquet of violets. Palate has ripe black fruit and plums, really good concentration, some tannins, spice, quite primary but very drinakable now. Have three more bottles to see how this wine evolves. This is another superb wine from Rustenberg at a give away price from Majestic.
