February 21, 2019 - I really like this label. They seem to not over manage the wine making process and instead let the fruit come thru.
PNP, slow improvement over 2+ hours. I would recommend a 2 hour decant. Red berries and leather on the nose. Juicy red fruit, forest floor and fine tannins. The finish is 30+ seconds.
My wife kept taking sips from my glass and finally said "what is this wine?" When I said "Hunnicutt", she said "Of course". Happy wife, happy life. If you want to try a consistent, delicious label try any of the Hunnicutts. -
