Community Tasting Notes 16

December 4, 2016 - Opened up over an hour. Dry in the way most 01s are with black cherry fruit and notes of green pepper and caraway seed. Better two years ago.

January 4, 2016 - Should have decanted (and served it before, not after, the Pibran). Decent fruit here but needs air time (or food) to relax the grip of the tannins.

October 22, 2015 - Could be bottle variation, but the second glass of this bottle dried out a bit more than the bottle we drank six months ago. My opinion--drink up.

May 5, 2015 - A good old school mid-weight Bordeaux; won't improve from here but drinks very well now. Would be more excited if I'd paid the community average of $16.98 instead of the $27 I paid Garagiste, but oh well.

(Château Guittot Fellonneau) Bricking medium dark red violet color; light mushroom, tart red fruit nose; tart entry, very tart cassis, dried out, iron palate with medium-plus acidity, drink up; medium finish
