Community Tasting Notes 7

  • drfloyd Likes this wine:

October 2, 2021 - Lovely - needs a bit of air to get going - decent weight and fruit still going strong - lovely acidity and salinity. Should improve for a few more years

July 18, 2020 - Last bottle of this. Similar to my last tasting notes. It really could last a few more years.

July 7, 2020 - Solid bottle. On the steely and nervy side. Drink over the next handful of years

July 2, 2020 - Pop and pour. In a great place for my palate, lemon, almond, lemon oil, a touch of toasty vanilla. On the palate, lovely acidity and density, some secodary suggestions of oxidative yellow fruit. Totally ready to go imo.

November 23, 2019 - Faaaaantastic. On the nose: sweet apple, meyer lemon, crushed stone..moving in the mineral direction as it opens. On the palate, lovely acidity, sweet apple, a touch of honey, loads of meyer lemon, and the finely crushed rock..on the slightly spicy finish.
