March 31, 2024 - this bottle was really singing tonight - certainly mature but so delicious and complex but with a distinct lightness and freshness to it - lovely

September 2, 2023 - My last bottle of this champagne was totally corked. This one is much better.
Golden in color with very thin bead of bubbles.
Nose is still quite discreet with red berries, pastries, mushroom flavours.
Medium body, frothy, with still very sharp acidity that has not Ben tamed after these many years. Some red berries, pastry, lemon, chalky.
    Excellent length.

    March 3, 2022 - Light golden color
Beautiful clean peach, honey and warm brioche on the nose
It's concentrated, nicely tannic, balanced and just mouth wateringly delicious.
So youthful... May have popped it a few years too early. Letting it breathe and it opens all up over the meal.
    Great stuff.

January 8, 2022 - Lovely, round, rich with notes of butter, citrus, some ginger. Very good length indeed, keeps going, this is a class act; open for buisness, but no hurry.

July 28, 2021 - (Disgorged in 2007, 60% Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne and 40% Chardonnay from Côté des Blancs, dosage 4 gr/l)
Yellow colour with a fine stream of tiny bubbles in the glass. Wonderful with citrus flowers, minerals, seashells and chalk in a still very youthful style on the nose. Smoothing acidity on the palate with red apples and a nice creaminess before showing lime citrus zest on the pleasant finish. Nice and lengthy finish showing butterscotch and butter for a very long time. This is starting to drink very well and should keep performing on this level for many years to come.

    May 30, 2021 - (Disgorged in spring 2009, 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay)
Lovely intense yellow colour with a fine stream of bubbles. Maturity on the nose showing lemon, minerals and butterscotch notes at first. Opens up with a nice mint chocolate touch in a very pleasant way. Delicious on the palate with butterscotch and a refreshing yellow apples acidity and with a creaminess as well. Very delicious right now!

April 2, 2021 - With AM, bottle in perfect conditions. Very good champagne, mature but not too mature, so still has 4 or 5 years left for sure. Lively mousse and bubbles, toasty nose, very gentle on palate. Not too rich or sweet or full in style. Liked this a lot

December 30, 2020 - mature with a fading mousse and gentle beads, this has developed some complexity but lacks a little freshness for my taste - I would be inclined to drink this soon

September 25, 2020 - Deep gold, big bubbles, rich, buttery, oxidative and somehow a bit shallow - disappointing

January 10, 2020 - (Disgorged in spring of 2009, 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay)
Maturing nose showing lovage, nougat, tutti frutti and vanilla bourbon in a delicious way. Smooth red apples acidity on the palate, tutti frutti coming back on the mid before a nice and lengthy finish showing ginger and vanilla fudge. This has transformed and opened up a lot compared to my last bottle from last year, but should keep evolving very well for another decade or so.
