January 17, 2021 - Beautiful color, this bottle is showing much nicer than the previous one. A restrained nose, dense tannic structure, very complex roasted flavors. Far better than the previous bottle, tremendous bottle variation, typical of many Kermit bottlings. Wish they would accept at least cross flow filtration.

March 13, 2020 - Medium dark red. Crushed blueberry, violets, and spice nose. Medium bodied, blackberries, lots of fine grained tannins, black cherries, wood spice, good balance, and a tangy medium length finish. Nice.

November 12, 2019 - Better than the last bottle but this medium weight wine is fully developed and reached its time. Enjoyable, with good balance and moderate fruit and clean finish, still solid enough wine. Lost two bottles in the bottom of a rack, but now have tagged the next bottle for drinking sometime this month, while it will still contribute.
