    February 3, 2024 - Tasted over 2 hrs
-nearly semi-translucent med red mild clearing
-expressive dusty rhubarb stems faint sweet sous bois
-med acidity, med weight though paradoxically the complex earthy stemmy faded red fruit cola elements are diffusely spread through the mid-palate rather than focused and concentrated, still a bit of spicy oak and delicate med- tannins
-fully mature but not tired, typical Rhys soaring aromatics and complexity

October 15, 2023 - Lots of lovely cherry fruit. Cherry cola, good length. Ready to drink but no rush in my opinion. Wish I had more.

December 18, 2022 - Cherry earthy cherry nose. Really lovely mid weight cherry, baking spices, and dark fruited palate with a long tart peppery tingly finish. Excellent balance. So much better than my last bottle. Charming, intense but in no way heavy. Bring on the chicken tacos.

  • KenK Does not like this wine: 87 points

November 24, 2022 - More than a bit over the hill, yet drinkable. Faded fruits, lite spice, & good brightness. Fruit core nearly gone.

October 3, 2022 - Ruby red color clear rim. Nose of red fruit raspberries and strawberries slightly floral with some lily overtones. Medium body high acidity. Palate of bright red fruit raspberries cranberries and strawberries. Very fruity not much more complexity yet. Finish was pleasant with silky floral flavors.
