December 24, 2022 - From a magnum. Much better than anticipated. Nice balance of dark plum, cassis, saddle leather, and mild tannins. Good length. Drink now.

In Vino Veritas (in wine there is truth; people speak the truth when they are drunk), bottle #117 of my cellar sacrifices. Another 2014 bottle of Substance cab. I guess this one really depends on the lot you get, because it has been up and down in the tastings over the last six months or so. A 2014 bottle of Substance cab. I guess this one really depends on the lot you get, because it has been up and down in the tastings over the last six months or so. Luckily, this particular bottle was very good and drank like a much more expensive cab. 😀 I will keep my fingers crossed on the remaining bottles. 😀🍷🍷👍 👍 -
