February 1, 2008 - Very pleasant medium body wine. Intense tannin. Bitter, almost burning, aftertaste.

January 8, 2008 - Had a peppery aroma with some dark fruit (raisin), a little oaky.
The taste was dusty, spicy with black pepper and tasted slightly of burnt wood. The burnt wood completely faded after several hours in the decanter. The wine seemed to get better after a day. In the end the wine was smooth, clean and well balanced. -

January 14, 2007 - Tannins not too strong for me. Quite nice, though lighter than expected. Lots o' character for $13, however.
