August 19, 2022 - Drank 8 years beyond its recommended “drink by date of 2014. Decanted for 2 hours before final tasting. Still enjoyable. No noticeable faults.

May 1, 2017 - Mid-red. Quite developed. A gentle wine with mid-bodied slightly stewed red fruits, a tough of earth, and an even, modestly long finish. From my cellar since release, under cork. Decent enough wine. Good value back then for about $17 Aussie a bottle. Questionable if it had cost modern RRP.

February 21, 2017 - I was happy w/ the value of this bottle. That said, it seems to be on the downside, with a more muted nose and slighter body than I imagine that it had in its youth. Gave off a lot of sediment after an hour or so.
Palate had slight hints of black olive which went nicely w/ Mexican short ribs.

January 6, 2017 - Decanted with little sediment. Starting to brown around the edges. Nice dark sweet fruit and spice. Just like the label says. Drink up.

June 1, 2016 - Unexpected. Smooth and elegant, dark berry fruit with soft tannin. Deep red color and good blackberries taste. Medium complexity. Bought over ten years ago, this bottle benefited from proper cellaring.

June 30, 2014 - Smooth, dark, fine sediment & benefits from some time in air, drinking really well - great value for what was a sub-$20 wine
