Community Tasting Notes 7

December 2, 2023 - PnP. Nice expressive nose with elderberry, licorice and with more air, shy notes from rose petals, on the palate good freshness, full bodied and long finish. The notes from the oak are not so present anymore and it shows more edges than 2 years ago.

Shows more Côte de Nuits typicality now but it also gives the impression that it needs an additional 2 to 4 years in the cellar to show its entire beauty.

March 1, 2023 - Musty, sweaty, and real. Not for your technical perfectionists, for sure. Layered with potpourri and clove.

January 14, 2022 - PnP. Powerful from the first to the last sip. Elderberry and licorice, intense on nose and palate, well integrated notes from the oak, dense and fresh with a long finish, incredibly good but far away from what I usually expect from a Côte de Nuits. Drink now or within the next 10 years, 92-93 points.

January 12, 2022 - Can't keep my hands off this...very drinkable but will age nicely. Solid red burg for those who want to step in and not break the bank.

October 19, 2021 - Beautiful chambolle with potpourri of red flowers and good mid palate weight with waves of perfectly ripe red fruits and minerals and fresh tilled earth.
