  March 21, 2011 - Loss of some fruit, it was almost past time to drink. Did not drink as hot as would be expected at 16.5% alcohol.

  December 26, 2009 - Very pleasantly surprised. I bought a case of half-bottles of this a while back. It had a really intense fruit jamminess to it at that time. The last couple of bottles I had were characterless and tasted every bit of ther 16.5 pct etoh. I was actually planning to trash my last 2 bottles, but I was going to taste it first. Nose was not jammy as before but was a pleasant ripe black fruit and cigar box. Palate had a little bit of a port character to it with black raspberry allspice and cigar box. Still a tiny bit of heat, but quite enjoyable.

  June 27, 2009 - Very fruity, floral aroma. Blackberry, dark cherry nose followed by bitter chocolate and pepper. Not much of a finish besides heat from high alcohol. Fell apart a little too quickly when run through the Vinturi. Note, I was drinking a 1/2 bottle.

  December 3, 2008 - Monstrously good! A respectably good Zinfandel. Dark black cherry colour, but also somewhat browned. Low very good (85.5).
