November 9, 2011 - Consistent with my prior notes on this. I would recommended opening this and drinking right away as there is zero acid left. I drank it over the course of an evening and used a VacuVin on the bottle in between glasses to keep it as oxygen free as possible throughout the bottle. At this point this tastes like a jar of Welch's grape jelly due to the lack of acid. Still very nice with food I would drink up ASAP. This was great bottle of wine but I waited too long on this one.

February 11, 2011 - Opened and decanted for about 30 minutes. Nose was a bit muted but did note strawberry and blackberry jam. Speaking of jam, this wine was super jammy. The acid has dropped out of the wine so it is a touch out of balance. The wine was great with food (pasta with sausage and tomato sauce) but by itself it was annoyingly out of balance. This wine is on the way down, drink ASAP before the fruit starts to go but drink with food.
The wine looks Garnet colored. -

October 23, 2007 - Opened at Zintoberfest. Typical Zin profile. Sweet fruit with notes of hard candy and cherries. Very rich and full bodied. Some heat and alcohol on the finish which detracted from this wine. 84 points.
