May 11, 2019 - This bottle was double decanted. The cork was in poor shape and the was a fair amount of sediment. The wine opened up very nicely and was enjoyable. What was left was very nice on day two. I think its time to be drinking this vintage and easy as she goes on removing the cork.

May 3, 2019 - 8th bottle from a case bought en primeur. A pleasant light nose of undergrowth at first, giving way to cedar and blackcurrant. Blackcurrant and graphite on the palate. Lovely soft tannins and very good length. This wine peaked two years ago and the body is just starting to wane, however the tannins are very soft so overall it's still in balance and will be drinking really well for another few years at least. Great wine for an average vintage.

March 30, 2019 - Still quite primary, though with fully resolved tannins. Quite pleasant if a bit foursquare at the moment.

February 21, 2019 - This needs a couple of hours in the decanter, and is firmly in its drinking window. I do not feel this is going to improve with time, but it should stay at this level for a few years. The nose is plum, blackcurrant, leather, and tobacco, and the balance on the palate is decent. It is somewhat simplistic on the mouth, and the finish is a little bitter. It is an enjoyable wine but certainly not a highlight from the estate.
