    January 29, 2020 - First day:
Opaque almost black color with ruby rim.
Classic BDX smell of currants, black cherries sweet earth and pencil.
Wine is light, lack of concentration though still there are tannins and has sour diluted aftertaste. After 10 years of cellaring is disappointng, did not pay off.
    On second day:
color and smell the same however wine got weight and tastes better.
On first day 88/100, on second day 89/100.
Anyway I expected more from great BDX vintage

    December 25, 2019 - drink now.

November 17, 2019 - From Coravin. Slight cork taint, blackberry, brambles, cream, vanilla, slight chocolate, leather, sweet spice, earth. Medium plus intensity acid, drying chalky tannins, similar fruit, plums, black fruits, cream, vanilla and that cork tannin. Not quite fully flawed but drink up asap. Pity as it would probably go for a few more years.

Note - drank later that evening with lamb lollipops...

November 1, 2019 - Quite mature, showing a lot of secondary notes. Decent QPR but drying tannins and mouthfeel prevent this from being a true stunner. Quite mellow at this stage in its evolution.

(Chateau La Tour Carnet Haut-Médoc) CS 52%, M 48%. A very dark hue. The nose has a plethora of rip black fruits, and there is good character on the palate. Supple but fairly forceful tannins, firm acidity, with a good presence of soft and rounded fruit. Decent weight. At the right price, this could provide some good value drinking.
