December 25, 2017 - Clean, fresh nose of spiced green apple, pear. Soft entry with a palate that matches the nose. Pretty creamy texture. Decent acid. Excellent fl2pr.

April 23, 2017 - WSET Diploma blinds Practice 2 (SF): (blind)
Pale gold color, clear, with tears.
    M- intensity aromatics, clean.
    - relatively neutral aromas
    - apples, underripe peach, slight nectarine.
    Palate
    - slightly off-dry (7-10g/L)
    - M body
    - M alcohol - feels 12.5% (actually 13.3%)
    - M+ acid
    - M length finish
    - M flavor intenity
    Peach, yellow apples, nectarines

RS caused me to think of:
    - Riesling (no TDN, Acid too low)
    - Vouvray (smells more new world)
    - [I forgot to lateral Pinot Gris]

Conclusion: Despite the relatively low acid, I think this is a Chenin, in a sec-tendre (slightly off-dry) style, from the Loire.
    Actual: Oregon Pinot Gris

Analysis - this should have been on my lateral list! It's not a bad example of an off-dry, new-world, semi-terpenic style.

February 9, 2017 - Pear nose, honey, caramel, and raspberry flavors with a lingering vanilla caramel finish. A rich but refreshing medium bodied white pinot.
