October 22, 2023 - Exactly what I hope for from an 8+ year old Hoddles Pinot. Cherry, a little mulch & mushrooms, minerality. That feathery tannin and acid structure. Could almost go 93.

October 7, 2022 - Yep - agree with previous note from Avid ..
Drinking well now but I think will be better in o year or four. Needs at least 30min to start showing its best. Great VFM wine….

July 16, 2022 - There’s red fruit, white pepper, some Pinoty mulchiness but really this is about the structure. Outstanding play of acidity with the fine tannin which I’ll describe as feathery but I’m clutching at straws. Improving with air, 2 hours open now, I started at 91. Suspect this bottle is still a couple of years from its peak.

Superb. Great balance of acid, red fruit and fine tannin.

(Stored half full bottle in fridge)

    Night 3
    Even better…

January 10, 2021 - Well made, showing just a little bricking, lovely bright nose of red fruit, some floral and a touch of white pepper/spice. High acidity, med tannins, well balanced, med + finish. Lovely wine, a little one dimensional but still great.
