January 29, 2022 - Dark red, violets on opening developing into more complex fragrances, including vanilla. 3.5 hour decant, notable sediment. Rich mouthfeel, well balanced tannins and fruit, with dark cherry and blackberry. Accessible and interesting now, but will gain complexity and can be kept for many more years.

November 28, 2021 - Bought back when I heard of the damage Signorello suffered in a fire (I hadn’t had any before). Nose of framboise, fresh cut grass, and menthol. On the palate has plush dark fruit and bitter chocolate and pine, fading to harsher notes of alcohol and menthol on the finish. Drinks like a $50 Cali cab (do those exist anymore?), but not quite at its $80-90 price point. Could give it more time, but I fear that the alcohol isn’t going to fade.

May 1, 2018 - Ripe Napa juice, certainly built to drink early, most cab fans will dig this stuff.

December 28, 2017 - Drank it far too young. Not even close to ready, needs more time to integrate. Try again in 5 years

December 25, 2017 - Slik smooth big nose with carmel, blackberry taste. Deep dark color and really enjoyed with chocolate. Will be even better laid down for a couple more years

November 11, 2017 - Still maintaining dark purple garnet colors with a bold yet short nose, the pallet still reflects a tight youth with complex fruit oak and tannins and the finish remains very long and flavorful. Drank in honor of the Signorello family after the Atlas peak fire that destroyed the winery. So glad they will rebuild as their tasting experience is very personable and enjoyable unlike the pretentious experience of their popular neighbor.

September 12, 2017 - Last night on the Allure of the Seas and this bottle was just a baby.

Deep ruby red with some garnet too. Dark nose with spices, dark berries, black currants, cassis and purple flowers. Heavy and rough tannins (8/10) with a medium plus to full body. A little rigid on the palate even with some time. Dark cocoa, some earthiness and cassis on the palate. A touch bitter too with lots of minerality in the long finish. This bottle needs a couple years before trying again in order to smooth out a bit and fill out that mid palate. Will easily gain a point or two with time. Drink from 2019 till 2035. (90+)

September 18, 2016 - Nose is a bit closed off, but it's extremely young, Very approachable as a PnP, surprisingly, the tannins are fine and sweet, Cocoa, cassis, dark red fruit and black fruits, tar, asphalt, good silky texture and long finish. Best example of this in a while, but I do feel I can get this same profile for the 50 dollar range. Excellent wine regardless.
