July 31, 2021 - Two hour decant. Tangy red fruit (cranberries and under-ripe strawberries), with loads of olive paste and black pepper. Very smooth and low ABV. I said 89 last time (and this is my last bottle), so I'm going to say 90, as I'm really feelin' this wine today. Good value for Northern Rhone.

June 19, 2021 - Similar to the prior bottle, this was better on day one and became a little tight and green on day 2. I would say drink up.

April 4, 2021 - Another one of those wines that sat in the cellar for years (4 1/2 for this one) for no real reason, just kind of got lost in the shuffle. Thanks to the CT community TNs I found the right time and dinner for this.

I was not thinking St. Joseph with a dinner centered on stuffed cabbage, but the TNs here made me think it would work. And it did!

Like others have said, this is more on the lean, less concentrated side, without notable depth. Some nice herbal and red fruit aromatics, a touch of smoke and meat, clean, tight profile, modest finish. Not a great wine, but very good, and a fair buy in St. Joseph at $20 USD. 13% abv

March 31, 2021 - Wine with typicity. Peppery Syrah around a good core. But nothing to distinguish itself and not a wine to seek out

December 23, 2020 - Very Syrah! But shortcomings prevail over strengths for me. Lacking body and core. Fades on palate and I don’t see this going anywhere but down from here. Drink up

December 8, 2020 - Nice black raspberry fruit, black pepper, and meaty aspects after a one-hour decant. The low alcohol is a big plus (12%). Short finish.

November 1, 2020 - Lovely fragrant Syrah. Not overly powerful or concentrated, but nicely complex with light black fruit and notes of smoke, meat and brush. Medium bodied on the palate, with bright fresh acidity and good juicy tannins. Flavour is redcurrant and plum, with some darker berry notes. Nice finish.

July 20, 2020 - Pleasing pnp without finesse or complexity but low alcohol-13%- and we’ll made low end ast Joseph. Some telltale hints of Syrah typicity. Easy quaffing va and good medium body food wine
