January 21, 2022 - Eðalklúbbur, smakk #1 vor 2022 (Marbakkabraut 12): Frekar dökkur litur. Smá öldrun greinanleg í litnum. Þungur ilmur. Svört kirsuber, tóbak, vindlar og sedrusviður. Smá sæta líka í ilmi. Mjög mikill ferskleiki. Mynta, þykk ber, sæta, lakktónar, vanilludropar. Í eftirbragðinu kom svo kaffi. Gríðarlega flott vín í mjög góðu jafnvægi.

October 31, 2019 - On the Fabregat slopes, worked with the mule, 70 Carinena and 30 Syrah, slight evolution on the nose, pepper, a hint of herbs/veggie, slates ! The palate is bright and sharp, with some gianduja, chocolaty taste, salty caramel, and a hint of ageing showing. Very interesting wine... could rank better but I so much loved the Basseta and Cirerets
September 29, 2019 - Krotida Wine Trip to Priorat & Barcelona; 9/29/2019-10/2/2019: The wine shows dense black colour.
The wine shows rich nose, very ripe black fruit, spicy, the palate is also rich, you can feel the 15.5% alcohol but doesn’t burn as much I was afraid, blackcurrant, chocolate, medium to full body, long finish.
Outstanding quality, elegant despite the alcohol.

May 29, 2017 - Capa alta. En nariz se le nota una mineralidad especial y bastante la presencia del syrah, pimientita. En boca es super potente, mucha presencia de madera, excesiva. Muy concentrado y extraído. Taninos bien integrado y mineralidad muy buena, con mucho nervio. Demasiado concentrado y extraído.
November 23, 2016 - The wine was bright medium ruby, almost purple in colour and offered red fruit, strawberry, stony notes as well as hints of spices and smoke on the nose. On the palate the medium-bodied wine showed sweet, ripe red fruit, spices, chili and stony mineral notes, complemented by a minty/chili aftertaste, with fresh acidity, smooth tannin and building length. You would never guess that this elegant wine comes with more than 15% ABV. A great Priorat!
