July 5, 2020 - Purchased for $10. Had this once a few weeks ago and didn't take detailed notes but was impressed by it. So went back and got 2 more bottles that I could sit and take my time with. Even served with baccaleau lagueira. Translucent garnet. Nose of red fruits like cherry, cranberry and raspberries. But there's a nice note of terroir. There's some salt air on here which I really enjoy and I remember it from the first bottle. More of the same on the palate with some red plum and a slight gaminess to that salt air. I really enjoy this. Will be interesting to try the Reserva, even though it's from a different vintage. Nicely done. Grade: A-
