May 30, 2018 - A lot of fruit, especially blueberry, with a touch of cola. Decent wine for the $12 price tag.

September 21, 2017 - Informal, but this was very nice. Decent structure for the price, this had loads of dark fruit, herbs and licorice. Firming tannin on the finish. 90+

June 8, 2017 - Deep ruby red with a touch of garnet. Toasty on the nose with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, blueberries and cola. A touch of earthiness too. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Attack of blue fruits with some spices. Some bark and a touch herbaceous. Medium length finish. Drink till 2020.

October 10, 2016 - Deep, brooding bluish red. Nose of blueberries interlaced with new oak. Malbec fruit is there, but at this point it is overpowered by alcohol and tannins. In terms of flavors it is somewhere in between the New World, often over-the-top, sometimes sweet Malbecs from Argentina, and the modern style of Malbecs coming from Cahors. This one needs at least 5 more years to settle down and then should live another 10 beyond that. Think power rather than finesse.
