January 18, 2023 - Good deep dark colour to the edge, nice red berry fruit nose, raspberry, leather and cedar... nice fresh dark red fruits with a little menthol.. a little warm on the palate... nice robust tannins provide good length. As per other notes on this wine, not complex, but will probably continue as today for another few years. Good QPR.
July 2, 2022 - Plum and cherry, chocolate and oak. Still quite vibrant but simple
June 11, 2020 - Our go-to Friday night/BBQ/pizza with friends. Never disappoints. Nothing special if drunk too early however development over time is excellent. Great value for money.
February 17, 2020 - Fruit forward, with cherry and strawberry flavors and a crisp, mineral spine. Classic AU Shiraz at a great price, will buy more.
August 1, 2019 - The wine appears dark ruby. The legs are slow and there is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blueberry, stone, black pepper, soil, and tobacco. It tastes like forest floor, stone, and strawberry. The body is medium-full. The wine has bright texture, a medium-long finish, and medium acidity. I would have no hesitation buying this again.
January 27, 2018 - Great combination of dark fruit, smoke and black pepper. Great QPR. Not sure if it will improve with age.
August 21, 2017 - Not bad, though prefer other barossa producers for this style and price point.
February 26, 2017 - Classic Barossa Shiraz.
February 8, 2017 - Saturated, very dark ruby color; savory, roasted red fruit, pepper nose; tasty, savory, roasted red fruit, pepper palate with good balancing acidity; needs 3 years; medium-plus finish
October 18, 2016 - Brings together dark cherry, plum, eucalyptus, and pepper into a symphony of juiciness and textural suppleness. Finishes with just a touch of warmth and pleasant heat, though remains balanced and graceful through it all.
