March 21, 2023 - Plum, dark cherry, tobacco, earth. Nice acidity. Moderate jamminess. Big but not huge...medium+ body. Delicious. Decanted for 45 minutes then drank slowly over 3 hours. Just kept getting better.

January 30, 2023 - For a $50 a $60 bottle of 2014 Napa Cab this bottle is outstanding! Decanted for about 15 minutes and it grew from there.

October 16, 2021 - Plum and Redcurrant with herbal and Cassis notes. Not super bold but a solid Napa Cab. Tannins are well integrated with balanced acidity. Finish is still filled with plenty of fruit and lasted for a decent time. Went well with grilled Pork chop.

June 16, 2020 - This was the first wine that turned my head almost 15-years ago. I remember shelling out a whopping $22 for it at the winery. Today I saw the current release for $54 at my fancy grocery store. Ultimately I think it is a good representation of a NAPA cab that isn’t over the top fruit forward. It has great balance. Great mouth feel and the flavor reminds me of a Rutherford cab. I think that’s where many grapes are from, but since it states Napa and not Rutherford I’m assuming they source their grapes at multiple locations. While the flavor is ultimately different, the experience is similar to an Alexander valley Cabernet, which I love as well.

November 13, 2019 - Perfect for the meal. Didn’t intend to finish the bottle (50% off) but it was so good it pulled us in.

October 18, 2019 - Nicely structured, good balance of fruit, tannin but not as deep as it could be. Very enjoyable.
