October 11, 2020 - Bold Dark Cherry with a hint of Vanilla, a powerful mix of fruit and ripe soft Tannins. Touch of Tobacco and Spice - keeps the taste buds alive with notes of cocoa and slate. Well balanced with a long luscious fruit filled finish. A perfect steak partner that is drinking superbly well.

May 19, 2020 - A consistently well made Cab from Paul Hobbs. Great fruit and well balanced tannins and acidity.

November 16, 2019 - First time drinking this wine. They sold it to me as a Paul Hobbs wine, although he is the consulting winemaker. Dark purple in color with a beautiful nose of blueberry, cherry, and perfume. This had a nice flavor on the pop and pour but needed time to develop a finish. Not a big wine more medium-bodied. This was much better as it got air. Drank over several hours and it definitely improved with time. As a 2013 I was expecting it to be bigger. This was a good wine but I don't think I will revisit at $80 a bottle.
