Community Tasting Notes 5

July 11, 2021 - Nice fresh nose with herb note changes over one hour as we drank the bottle. Sometimes more distinct herbal notes, sometime more fruity. Nice and interesting. I would drink up now.

July 2, 2021 - Nice complexity and flavor profile.
Given the age though that this be in decline, but in a good spot.
Smooth Flavors of tart peach, citrus with good acid balance. Not the typical crisp, tart Sancerre.

April 21, 2018 - Très exubérant, du pamplemousse, des agrumes, herbacé. Belle mineralité, vif, tranchant. A l'aveugle on détecte le SB en un instant. Textbook. Et peut être un peu too much....

May 3, 2017 - Den Blinde Hane#7 (Hos Leif): PnP. Pale metallic greenish-yellow. Generous aroma, elderflower, black currant leafs, peach and citrus. Stringent harmonious palate, elegant, very fine acidity to balance it all. Drink now-onwards

November 21, 2016 - pale white color, white flower, tropical fruits, elder, subtle expression of vanilla, smoke, extremely well balanced, long silky aftertaste

Tasted alongside 2014 Sancerre La Bourgeoise

    score: 92+
