November 24, 2019 - Thanksgiving week in Piemonte; 11/22/2019-11/30/2019 (Milan, Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco): At the Vini de Vicino Tasting Room (La Morra). First in the line-up, I would classify this as more of a value daily drinker - despite being a '13 vintage this seemed more open than others we had tried (unsure how long bottle was open). More classically styled - no visible oak signature. Quaffable but not as memorable.

November 24, 2019 - Piedmont II - better and learnings; 11/23/2019-11/29/2019 (Barolo, Alba, others): First wine of the day and for me the wine of the tasting although I think I was influenced by the fact that it was so light and easy and just a good gateway. It's clean and soft and some light red fruits and gentle and very soft tannins. Maybe not the wine I want to own for the long term, but one I can drink now easily.

April 7, 2019 - Earthy nose of red fruit, tar & rose pedals, spicy palate of early picked cherry, freshly cut grass, anise & tobacco leaves, chewy tannins, long, spicy finish. Please decant.

November 21, 2018 - The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle.
It smells like blackberry, blueberry, coffee and black pepper. It tastes like raspberry. The body is full. The wine finishes long.
