  May 9, 2022 - Ruby in glass with garnet hues. Modern in style. Medium intensity on the nose. Plum, cherry violet and chocolate. Medium plus acidity and mostly resolved tannins.

  August 11, 2021 - Had this at Luigis in Fayetteville. Decanted about 30 mins. Silky smooth when on its own. Wasn’t a great pairing with Filet. This wine will continue to age nicely.

  June 16, 2021 - Popped and let sit for 2 hours. Slow drink over the next 4 hours.
  A wine that I would use as a demonstration of when describing "high complexity". Interesting that the wine was still built of two parts. The Merlot you could feel & taste upfront. It was big and round, and the Sangio came through at the back of the mouth and finished like silk.
  The only reason for the slightly lower than outstanding score, was that in the middle of drinking, it went flat. The first glass out of the bottle and the last were spectacular, but the middle period was disappointing.
  This bottle still needed many years to come together, bringing both varietals to a more harmonious relationship, while also developing more consistency.
  It's a very tasty, but disjointed, HOLD for me. Try again in 2025.
