September 16, 2022 - A nice combination of depth and structure with finesse and elegance.
Smoky-meaty touch, black pepper and black olives on the nose and perfectly mirroring on the palate.
Nice vibrant acidity when freshly opened, getting smoother after an hour but still present, though pleasant and not disturbing. Good in proportion with the mild tannins. Mid-long finish. Kann hold for rhe next few years for sure, but I think it makes the most fun right now

January 22, 2022 - Classic smoked peppery meaty notes. My last bottle and holding well.

November 3, 2021 - This was VERY VERY good. Great concentraton and drinking very well. Got to try more older northern rhones

    July 1, 2021 - Medium+ garnet with crimson rim.
Distinct farmyard pong along with feral elements, manure and tilled soil. Dots of fruit here and there alongside cracked black pepper.
The entry reveals black cherry compote, freshly picked redcurrants and sour (almost unripe) red cherries, all accentuated by an apple-y acidity making the wine quite tart. Savoury on the mid-palate, firm drying tannins giving a texture of chamois leather, this is a rather linear wine with ittle breadth and comes accross as bony with little flesh to ease the firmer tannins. Feels cool and a little unforgiving for Crozes. (cooler area perhaps? vintage?) Had it previously and was better

January 16, 2021 - Nice dense fruit. Lots of leather and rubber notes, but enjoyable
