October 26, 2020 - Similar to notes from 12/31/19. Rich ,s slightly syrupy but refined botrytis, peaches and apricots. A bit low in acidity but still holds its own with a light cheesecake. Drink or hold.

October 7, 2020 - My last bottle. What’s not to love. An energizing sweet and rich drink, went great with sweet dried egg roll.

December 31, 2019 - light gold. Aromas of apricot, apple tart, caramel and botrytis spice. Full-bodied, sweet and viscous. full-bodied with a rich, sweet finish. Superb with pate

May 14, 2019 - From a half-bottle. Nice medium gold colour - really quite pretty. On the nose, aromas of peach, apricot, faint touch of caramel and botrytis type rubber aromas. On the palate, the attack is sweet, viscous with the aromas found on the nose as well as pastry cream (crême pâtissière). Faint touch of bergamote. Not overly concentrated or complex, but very pleasant and well balanced in a light style for a Sauternes. Perhaps slightly low in acidity (as quite a few other 2005s), but this is still very pleasant and goes well on its own or with some plain fresh strawberries. 89-90

December 22, 2018 - The color was not advanced, just a fairly light golden. The dominating note was a fresh coat of paint which overwhelmed any fruit. Not sure what went wrong with this one.

June 10, 2018 - An absolutely charming wine. Nose of candied orange, with good lift and delicate botrytis. Very clean taste, understated for a Sauternes, of honey and that oily orange once again. There is no attempt at depth or complexity, but precisely because of that it is so successful. And it has a dry finish! Quite superb.

November 23, 2016 - Very correct, with a good dose of botrytis tinged apricot and roasted peach notes. For some reason we seldom finish a bottle of dessert wine and they usually end up being used for cooking. This one was no exception.

October 27, 2016 - Nice golden colour and somewhat viscous. Open nose with mostly pear, rubber (botrytis aroma) and a touch of clove. On the palate, the attack is sweet, fruity and round with the same aromas as on the nose, with perhaps some extra peach syrup flavours. Not too many citrus aromas. It is very pleasant on the palate, but perhaps lacks a touch of acidity for the long run. Pleasant and frankly delicious, from half-bottles I would enjoy it now and over the next 2-3 years. 89

December 26, 2015 - The nose on this sauternes consists of stonefruit, pineapple, white flowers and lemon. The palate is rich, with edgy acidity and a continuance of the bouquet into the flavors. Underlying was a somewhat odd green, stemmy element that I could not quite identify and did not appreciate much which held my score down.
