December 17, 2023 - Didn't show as well as my previous bottle. Rather tight, even mean, on the nose, especially for the first hour or two - then rather more tropical, and unappealingly heady (the 14% alcohol making itself felt). Green/yellow fruit on the palate, almost opulent, and a buttery, mealy note. I generally like this style of wine, and there were attributes that I really enjoyed, but my overall feeling was of a slightly disjointed wine that lacked typicity. Final bottle should be left a couple of years at least, I reckon.

October 29, 2023 - Natural farming, late harvested, aged on the yeast without any impact of oak. 14% vol.

Small bottle, PnP and enjoyed over two days. Needs a lot of air to blow away the cheese rind smell, then it showed mature notes with dried apricot with a hint of lemony, on the palate fresh and precise, good depth and long finish. No decline on the second day but with some tawny notes (walnut) that might not be for everybody. Looking on the 6 bottles I had up to now, I can say that there is quite a big bottle variation with small bottles, nevertheless, I'm happy not to have missed any of these bottles.

June 16, 2023 - Outstanding value wine and drinking perfectly with 10+ years of age. Drunk blind you would guess at a high end 1er to Grand Cru Burgundy. Bags of perfectly balanced rich Chardonnay fruit.

March 10, 2023 - Well I don’t know whether this is REALLY a 93 point wine, but I really want everyone to know how absolutely uniquely delicious this is. And for me / us, it is definitely up there with wines I know I am going to love. Some caramel notes, some herbs, something smokey (apricots maybe) and a beautiful clean acidity to finish it off. I don’t want it to go up in price, but it deserves to. Go buy…..

January 22, 2023 - bottle opened 1 hour in advance, served chilled. Magnificent frank and precise attack, I expected a slightly sweet and evolved wine but it is the young chardonnay that I feel with these usual markers coupled with a very good length. A real treat on a salmon gravlax, crème fraîche with chives, lemon and waffles.
