August 10, 2020 - Sour cherry nose.
Earthy, complex sour cherry palate. Medium length. Not great fruit but its complex marriage of earth, mineral, sour cherry, mushroom is strangely beguiling. Probably better with a few hours of breathing. -

June 17, 2019 - Opulent bouquet of red berries, sweet and tart, prickly peak, herbs, sous-bois, and unique terroir. More of the same on the palate, delightfully layered, with impressive power. Imperceptible alcohol, well defined.
Somewhat reminiscent of the 2012 Jackson Estate Vintage Widow, thus north Rhone Syrah-like, and showing hints of the Cayuse style. Stelvin enclosure. Let it breathe. 91-92.
