    August 10, 2020 - Sour cherry nose.
Earthy, complex sour cherry palate. Medium length. Not great fruit but its complex marriage of earth, mineral, sour cherry, mushroom is strangely beguiling. Probably better with a few hours of breathing.

June 17, 2019 - Opulent bouquet of red berries, sweet and tart, prickly peak, herbs, sous-bois, and unique terroir. More of the same on the palate, delightfully layered, with impressive power. Imperceptible alcohol, well defined.

Somewhat reminiscent of the 2012 Jackson Estate Vintage Widow, thus north Rhone Syrah-like, and showing hints of the Cayuse style. Stelvin enclosure. Let it breathe. 91-92.

May 25, 2018 - Ruby Red with beetroot rim at May 2018. v/nice an still young.
On opening we have Lovely sweet ripe Strawberry Cherry an Beetroot pinot fruit showing with lovely newish french oak adding richness. v/good indeed. On the palate we have ripe sweet fruit upfront similar to above , sweet rich mid palate an lovely long soft oily tannins giving great length . Palate length just lingers an lingers , really nice an from the great 2015 year in Yarra valley. Still time to go an drinking great now but will benefit with a couple more years in bottle to soften out . Worth checking out at Auctions an great QPR at $30 - $40 mark too. Great food wine with rare Duck best.

September 7, 2017 - Full Circle BevCon: Southern Hemisphere (SF: Sir Francis Drake Hotel): Clean slightly confected red cherry (30% whole berries). Ripe wine with elevated alcohol and only medium acid.
Very modest impression of vanilla-toast oak (25% new French oak).

July 1, 2017 - Showed lovely earthy, mushroomy characters on the nose on opening, somewhat faded on day 2. Followed through to palate. Medium weight without great excitement and not standing up well on day 2. Not a long term keeper.

December 28, 2016 - Round, balanced, soft fruit. Well structured. Fine without being great. Already drinkable.
