March 4, 2022 - This SCM Cab just keeps on going. Have had this wine over last 4 years from a 750mL to a double magnum. Pours dark in glass, next to no bricking, earthy nose filled with classic Cabernet dark fruits. Tannins are still grippy not overpowering. Checked inventory, have 3 bottles left now. Will not improve, drink this excellent SCM Cabernet with any of your best friends to treat them to a classic aged SCM Cabernet experience. This SCM Cab is right up there with the best of the region.

May 15, 2020 - When first opened had a hint of VA. About an hour later served with dinner (Bison steak with a Bernaise sauce) and the brambly bush fruit had come forward, currant and plum. Due to the acidity and dry dusty finish would definitely recommend pairing with food. Overall a very enjoyable wine with dinner. I have 1 more bottle and will drink it soon. Would not expect this wine to improve with any more age.

December 31, 2014 - Excellent now. Well structured and balanced. Long finish subtle and strong. Classic Cab, can not go wrong.

May 18, 2008 - Wow, incredibly tannic, there is some fruit hiding and it opened up after a bit, but I'm not going to touch another bottle for at least 3 years. The PV gives it an amazing inky color.

December 1, 2007 - Deep rich color, dark berry flavors. Never really opened up, not terribly smooth, probably not at its best yet.
