July 14, 2021 - It was consumed a few days ago, so no formal description here, but this was just such a pleasing bottle. Not earth shattering or profound, but all around well made with a high delicious factor. Blackberry/cassis with some Bordeaux-esqe cedar, pencil lead, leather. Improved with time in glass (and day two).

April 17, 2021 - Very very dark and inky. Bordeaux blend. Still youthful. Blackberry, cedar and caramel in the nose. More of the same in the flavor along with sage. Quite tannic at first, but this mellowed with breathing (in the glass!)

August 11, 2020 - Deep purplish red. Some spices on the nose with black currants, tobacco and gravel. Heavy tannins (7/10) with solid acidity and a medium plus body. Layered palate with blackcherries, herbs, cinnamon, spices and dark earth. Dry and long finish. Drink till 2029.
