Community Tasting Notes 9

May 28, 2022 - Corked, or something. Blew off a little, but also some fusel alcohol notes. Others were fine

October 11, 2021 - Last bottle, consistent with last notes, definitely got a little rougher on day 2.

October 25, 2020 - This is in a good place tonight, and will drink the remaining bottle soon; don't see this getting better but that's OK. I don't have the patience of prior tasters who tracked over several days, but fortunately this was singing right out of the gate. Earthy, a little funk, kirschy, mellow tannins, very pure, very drinkable right now.

June 4, 2020 - This was shut down pretty hard for the first 12 hours open and I thought it might be in a dumb phase. It had a light bouquet and thin flavors. Overnight, it opened up generously but also revealed a wine that was quite stewy and full of dark Mourvedre-character prunes, tar, iron and high heat. Then day 3 saw it really come together in terms of balance and power. I'm not a big fan of it right now, but with 3-5 more years, I think it will turn to my favor because there is a lot more to unwind in here. 4+11+16+9= 90
