October 16, 2021 - Very smooth and well-balanced. Medium-plus weight. Drinks like an expensive $80+ cab at this juncture. Friends enjoyed it very much.

September 6, 2021 - Assez typique Cali Cab. Beaucoup de fruit et d’alcool mais sans longueur ou caractère particulier. Accord intéressant avec un Tomahawk sur le charbon de chêne. Je vais attendre au moins 5 ans pour ma dernière bouteille.

August 1, 2021 - I was surprised by the light color this cab showed. Nice cherry taste with vanilla. Medium-bodied with a smooth nice finish.

June 6, 2020 - Medium plus body, smooth and easy drinking. Nice mixed black and some red fruits. A touch of chalkiness on the finish. Good QPR with a little age behind it. Smooth finish. Enjoyable with or without food.

April 1, 2020 - Agree with Capanni. This was a medium-bodied Cab Sauv, with blue fruit mid-palate profile somewhat fruit forward (not a fruit bomb IMO as others have said - but some of those opinions were in 2017), with short finish, with very little tannin, mild acidity. Not bad at all, reasonable value given that it came from CA. But I'd rather drink a later vintage Kaiken Ultra Malbec with it's more muscular longer lasting finish than this. As a wine drinker who drinks every day, and is not happy with the prices of CA wines, please take note!

November 16, 2019 - Nose is not bad—sweet red fruits and blackberry with oaky notes; almost like a Pinot noir. Palate let’s it all down though—dry and hard with some fruits but ultimately disappointing.

October 31, 2019 - 2016 is best. This 2014 is a med+ body with a very earthy/musty tone on the nose. Mild dark fruits are present.

Drinking is smooth, not much acidity, dark fruits and very low tannins. Slightly dry. Short finish. 15%....once again, prefer the 2016 - much better

October 9, 2019 - Very nice with a bit of cellaring. Drank next to an Isosoles and it was a bit different but comparable in quality. Medium plus weight, smooth with dark fruit notes, mild acidity in mid-palate and pleasant finish with hardly any tannin. Good QPR compared to the Isosoles.

July 2, 2019 - Justin makes some very good wine, but their lower end Cab. Is not in that category. There is noth8ng wrong with it, but nothing great either.

On the nose, it is surprisingly medicinal with some underlying fruit. On the palate, it is the opposite of what we got on the nose. It is sweet with dark fruit, it there is nothing that makes it stand out. No depth, no underlying flavors.

I think there are other Cabs at this price point that are better.
