September 15, 2023 - Beautiful nose of crème brulee, pineapple, toasty oak and burnt honey with a hint of orange rind. Full-bodied, this is rich and round with loads of mouth-filling flavors of star fruit, lemon, apricot, bruised apple, toasty oak and a long, oyster-shell saline-filled finish! This is exceptional. Definitely an exception to the "I don't like Chardonnay" rule! The texture is excellent and despite the cleansing acid and slight tug of tannin, this glides effortlessly over the palate. 94

February 28, 2021 - Hmm. Comes across as atypically aged.

June 17, 2019 - PnP. Light gold. Citrus nose. This has high acid on the palate but with some air the fruit begins to come forth to make a much better balanced wine. This is almost Chablis-like. Clearly this can age for quite a while yet; very atypical for California Chardonnay, but consistent with this bottling over the years. Intriguing.

February 7, 2018 - The wine looks blonde colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon, apple, apricot and pear. It tastes like lemon, apple, apricot and pear. The body is light. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has high acidity.
