April 6, 2023 - I keep opening these! Denser than many 2014 Hunter Shiraz, with olives, black fruits and earth. Long finish and a longer future.

March 17, 2023 - Dense and youthful plum red in colour. Typical OP&OH nose with blackberries, olives, earth but overlain by a cool menthol/mint. The overall impression is of complexity with freshness. Similar palate, the olive tapenade more to the fore but with a refreshing coolness to the fruit and a minty finish despite the 14% ABV. Streets ahead of the 2014 Rosehill. The 2014 O’Shea must be spectacular if they had fruit available for this selection 18.5 and a long future ahead under Stelvin seal, 2030-2040 easy if you wish.

December 21, 2022 - Balanced full of flavour may get better but drinking so well now I would not keep in hope of improving further

September 22, 2022 - {screwcap, 14%} Still lots of garnet colour. Reticent nose and palate of cranberry, cherry, blackberry. Fruit-driven, but no bomb. Ultrafine dusty tannins, medium acidity. Medium weight, with an earthy but clean, savoury sort of presence. Still sweetly ripe for flavour, but polished, classy, refined. Delicate, even. Medium/long finish of impeccable balance along the tongue. Too young for much development yet in this top vintage, I suspect, so probably best to give it another 8-10 years.
