  November 17, 2020 - I see 'sweet' mentioned three times in the most recent handful of notes on this wine. According to the winery's spec sheet the RS is only 0.09 g/100ml but the acidity numbers clearly show it's lacking there vs. a lot of other reds, so I think that could explain it. This household doesn't have a problem with this type of wine, especially when paired with an acidic dinner like the pizza we had with it. Very solid Tuesday night pizza wine!

  November 14, 2018 - Dark red; dark fruit, blackberries, some sweetness, a hint of licorice; bold attack, some acidity and tartness, some tannins, appearing somewhat unbalanced; light burning aftertaste; good fruit but too many disturbing factors
