May 11, 2013 - Decanted an hour or so. Mid-weight Syrah with a bit of black pepper and slightly plummy flavours. Doing nicely, drink or hold.

January 14, 2011 - Popped and poured. The cork was very dry and crumbled apart. This seemed to affect the wine, which while overall fairly good, had a slightly oxidized, acetic bite. Fairly light on its feet despite the 14.5% alcohol, this has good structure and a sense of minerality. Red-fruit driven, with some secondaries. A bottle in better condition could probably sail on for awhile. $17 WB
