    September 30, 2021 - À son meilleur après un bon coup de carafe. Tannins assouplis mais encore présents. Longueur moyenne, le fruit est mûr. Dans une belle phase et aucunement essoufflé. Bon RQP pour un Barolo.

    October 9, 2020 - Lys granatrød. Mørke, modne og kraftfulle bær. Mørke kirsebær og moreller med god konsentrasjon. Frisk og kraftfull med fin friskhet, finkornete tanniner og deilig frukt. Topp match til lasagne!

    November 15, 2019 - A prototypical Barolo with all the pre-requisite profile. Fits the bill to a T and can hold for years to come. Can drink now or hold for years to come.

    December 19, 2018 - Bu côte-à-côte avec le 2008.
    Le 2007 m'a semblé beaucoup plus prêt à boire. Charmeur même avec ses tanins veloutés sur une trame de griottes d'une belle fraîcheur. Peut-être pas aussi ample et complexe que ce qu'on attendrait d'un Riserva, mais il faut dire que le prix est une aubaine tout de même. Particulièrement dans ce millésime. On peut s'en régaler dès maintenant et sûrement pour les 5 prochaines années.

    December 13, 2017 - Dark garnet color. On the nose spice, oak, mushroom, wood and some flour. On the palate it is medium body with medium alcohol, high acidity and medium high tannins. The tannins are still strong but not too strong just enough to grip the palate. The taste is spicy with a good amount of oak, dark fruit and scent of flour but acidity is very high masking allot of the rest. Not sure if time should improve this aspect. I feel it still need a few years to continue its journey to get better.
