May 7, 2022 - Vibrant, spicy, raspberry and strawberry to the fore. A bracing acidity, which I adore and a very lengthy finish. Not your average Bourgogne, for sure and probably the best one that I have had. Plenty of time left but drinking beautifully, at the moment. Definitely good value at the price I paid (under £30) but not at current market values.

December 29, 2021 - Great nose but the midpalate seems to be thinning out a bit. Drink up!

December 27, 2020 - Very nice nose with red fruit and some spice.. with air more spice. There is a very nice tension on the palate , showing youth, and energy... nice zingy finish.

July 20, 2020 - Impressive for a Bourgogne, especially when paired with a duck margret. The nose hinted at the domaine’s NSG terroir, with notes of wet stone and earth alongside dark cherries and berries, maybe a touch of violets. Really nice and rather deep for a Bourgogne. The same thing could be said of the palate. It was bright, juicy and surprisingly structured, especially for a 2014, with sour cherries and cranberries laced with notes of stony mineral. Past the midpalate and into the finish, some bright, acids and a chew of tannins led into a blush of fresh herb and just a little spice. Not earth-shaking, but this was a nice, food-friendly Bourgogne. A touch of hollowness on the midpalate gave it away, otherwise I would have called it a village.
