Community Tasting Notes 15

April 2, 2020 - This was really, really good. Developing a bit of a darker hue but still plenty of crisp citrus to it. But age has taken off any edge to it, rounded it out. Delicious.

October 15, 2018 - stunning white wine. a ton of citrus fruit (pineapple, orange, lemon) and great texture. still good acidity, showing no signs of fading. would be fun to try this in a few more years

September 19, 2017 - This wine has developed beautifully in the 16 months since I tasted it last (5/16 - 91 points). The wine is still light yellow in color and light in body, but that's where the similarities stop: this wine has gotten more complex and sophisticated with time.

The nose is a lovely combination of orange peel and lime, with a crisp note of ocean air. Lemon now leads the tastes, quickly followed by green apple and crushed rock, with a finish that is now more round and less bracing (with even a creamy note, that helps balance out the acidity). Blend of 69% Pinot Grigio and 31% Greco. 12.8% alcohol. This is just as lively, but a little more mature and silky - a stunning wine for the money.

August 12, 2017 - Medium to dark lemon color with hints of gold, slightly cloudy. Killer nose of lemon zest, citrus, crushed rock, talcum, white florals. Similar flavors on the palate with intense lemon and mineral driven flavors. Medium+ acid, slightly grippy mouthfeel for a white wine. Layered and balanced on the finish. Fantastic wine and paired perfectly with baked red snapper.

May 22, 2017 - A little less lightning than the previous bottle mentioned below, but still tasty. May have to get a third to break the tie.
