March 24, 2020 - Wine from the grape bobal - usually used for mass production, Toni Sarrion with his Bodega Mustiguillo created bobal wines with high quality; dark ruby color with long legs - nose fruity with berries, raspberry and cherry - flavor complex with mediterrean herbs, sandalwood and liquorice - long finish

November 27, 2018 - Rich, opulent Bobal wine (100 percent), an indigenous grape variety to the area Utiel-Requena (Comunitat Valenciana). It is made from vines between 45 and 70 years old, grown on the limestone soils of the Terrerazo winery at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level (organic viticulture). The wine was aged for 21 months in French oak barrels. Decanted: one hour prior to tasting. Deep, intense cherry-red color and an expressive nose of black forest fruit, licorice, roasted coffee and noticeable oak tones (not fully integrated yet). The full-bodied palate is marked by overripe plum and bramble fruit, a silky texture, a well-balanced acidity and still quite dominant tannins. Lingering aftertaste. Already drinking nicely now, but I think this wine needs a few more years of maturing to really come around.

June 10, 2017 - ripe dark fruit on the nose
Dark fruit, very rich, with vanilla and nutty notes
Big wine, like a polished Ribera del Duero, can't quite believe this is Bobal
    Big and refined
